Join San Francisco Chronicle Urban Design Critic John King on an exploration of downtown's most interesting new landscape: the blocks between Yerba Buena Garden and the Embarcadero. It's where office towers have sprouted and where art students smoke cigarettes outside historic buildings, where alleys are sprouting cultural life and where the new Transbay Terminal is taking shape. This tour will include highlights and lowlights, and includes stops at several buildings featured in King's new book from Heyday, "Cityscapes: San Francisco and Its Buildings."
